Yacht charters are priced per vessel, not per person. A 6 or 8-hour private charter on the Lauderdale Charters fleet varies by vessel and season. Contact us directly for current rates; pricing is transparent with no dock fees or fuel surcharges added after booking. Split across a group of 8 to 12, private yacht charters are more accessible than most guests expect.
All three Lauderdale Charters yachts comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests for a premium day experience. The 52 Schaefer is the most popular for first-time charter guests and couples. The 51 ft Flybridge handles corporate groups and celebrations particularly well. Yes; a USCG-licensed captain is included in every Lauderdale Charters charter. No boating experience or license is required from your group. The captain manages navigation, anchoring, safety, and itinerary. For proposals and special occasions, let us know at booking and the captain will be briefed on the moment you’re planning.
Food and beverages of your choice (BYOB and BYOF), sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, non-marking soft-sole shoes, a swimsuit if you plan to use the swim platform, and a light layer for the return in the evening. For luxury day charters, most groups bring a charcuterie setup, a cooler of drinks, and something to mark the occasion. Leave glass ashore unless your captain approves it, and bring cash for the captain’s gratuity, 15 to 20% of the charter rate is standard.
Peak season (December through April) weekend dates on the Sunseeker and Flybridge book 4 to 6 weeks out. For proposals and milestone occasions tied to a specific date, book as soon as the date is confirmed. Weekday and shoulder season availability is more flexible.
