For an evening charter, lighter food works best, something you can enjoy while watching the horizon, not a full meal that needs plates and silverware.

Often, yes. Partial cloud cover produces the most dramatic Fort Lauderdale sunsets, oranges, purples, and pinks that a completely clear sky rarely delivers. A fully overcast evening is the exception, and even then, the ICW at dusk with the city lighting up on both sides has its own look. The captain monitors conditions and adjusts the route accordingly.
