Corporate Boat Charter Fort Lauderdale: Client & Team Event Charters

Lauderdale Charters offers private, captained corporate boat charters in Fort Lauderdale for client entertaining, executive outings, and small team events. Charters run aboard the company’s own yacht fleet, hosting up to 13 guests with a licensed USCG captain and crew. Every booking is a single-company charter — no other guests aboard, no shared schedule.

A conference room works fine for a status update. It doesn’t work for closing a deal with an out-of-town client, thanking your team after a strong quarter, or getting six executives somewhere they’ll actually talk to each other. A corporate boat charter in Fort Lauderdale does. Lauderdale Charters runs private corporate charters out of Fort Lauderdale, cruising the Intracoastal past Millionaires’ Row or out toward the inlet, depending on what your group wants to see. Whether your team searches for a corporate boat rental, a corporate yacht rental, or a corporate yacht charter in Fort Lauderdale, the booking works the same way: your company, one vessel, one captain, no strangers aboard.

Corporate Occasions We Host

Corporate Charter

Most corporate bookings come down to a handful of occasions, and we plan the route and timing around whichever one is yours:

  • Client entertaining — host a prospect or an existing account on the water instead of another dinner reservation
  • Executive outings — a leadership offsite, a founder’s day with investors, a small board gathering
  • Team milestones — a yacht party for company wins, whether that’s closing a quarter, launching a product, or a work anniversary
  • Out-of-town client hosting — give a visiting client a few hours on Fort Lauderdale’s waterfront attractions instead of another hotel lobby
  • A corporate yacht party, or an office party boat Fort Lauderdale companies book instead of another round at the same bar everyone always goes to

We book all of these as private, single-company charters. Your team or your guests are the only people on board.

Group Size: Private Charters for Up to 13 Guests

Corporate charters run aboard our yacht charter fleet, with a passenger ceiling of up to 13 guests per booking. That’s a deliberate limit, not a compromise. A group of 13 or fewer fits comfortably on one vessel with one licensed captain, one clear itinerary, and nothing to coordinate beyond picking a date.

If your event runs larger than 13, ask us about a larger-group pontoon option we can connect you with through a trusted local partner. We don’t chase large-group bookings. Thirteen and under is what we do, and we do it well.

What's Included in a Corporate Charter

Every corporate charter includes:

  • A licensed USCG captain who runs the boat, the safety briefing, and the route
  • Exclusive use of the vessel for your group — no other charters or passengers aboard
  • A standard cruising route along the Intracoastal Waterway, adjusted to your group’s timeframe and interests
  • Coolers and ice on board

Food and beverage on a Fort Lauderdale corporate charter is BYOB — bring your own catering, box lunches, or drinks for the group. Gratuity for the captain and crew (15 to 20 percent of the charter fee) is customary and is not included in the quoted rate.

Requesting a Quote for Your Company

A corporate quote comes down to three details: your group size, the date and time window you need, and the occasion. Send those over and we’ll confirm which vessel in the fleet fits your group and send back a written quote with the total rate, the route, and the departure marina.

We can issue a written invoice for expense reporting or vendor setup on request — mention it when you reach out. Book several weeks ahead where possible: December through April is Fort Lauderdale’s peak charter season, and dates go quickly.

Why a Private Charter Beats a Large Group Boat for Client Entertaining

A large public boat is the wrong setting for a client dinner or an executive offsite, even when the price looks appealing. On a big group boat, your company shares deck space, music, and the captain’s attention with a boat full of strangers — not the environment you want when you’re trying to close a deal or thank your best people.

A private charter with a 13-guest ceiling means the boat, the crew, and the itinerary belong to your company for the day. Your group can actually hear each other talk, and the client or executive you’re hosting notices the difference. That’s the real gap between a luxury charter boat built for events like this and a general-admission party cruise: who else is standing on the deck with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a corporate boat charter in Fort Lauderdale cost?

Pricing depends on the vessel, the length of the charter, and the season. Request a corporate quote with your group size and preferred date, and we’ll send back a written rate for that specific trip.

How many people can come on a corporate charter?

Our corporate charters host up to 13 guests aboard our own yacht fleet. For groups above 13, ask about a larger-group pontoon option through one of our local partners.

Is the captain licensed?

Yes. Every Lauderdale Charters trip is run by a licensed USCG captain. Your group rides as passengers while the captain handles navigation, docking, and safety.

Can we get an invoice for the booking?

Yes. Let us know when you request your quote and we’ll provide a written invoice suitable for expense reporting or vendor approval.

Is food or catering included?

No. Corporate charters are BYOB — bring your own food and beverages, or arrange your own outside catering. Coolers and ice are provided on board.

Can we use the charter for a working session or small offsite, not just a party?

Yes. Groups book our charters for informal offsites, client conversations, and team outings as often as celebrations. Mention what your group needs when requesting a quote so we can match you with the right vessel and route.

How far in advance should we book a corporate charter?

Book several weeks out when possible, especially December through April — Fort Lauderdale’s peak charter season, when dates fill up fastest.
